How we handle your data

Last updated: 6 October 2026

2. What we collect

We only collect what the service needs to work.

Crop and leaf photographs To run disease diagnosis and show you your own history Each time you scan

3. Third parties who process your data

To provide some features we send data to these services. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

  • Image analysis providers — the photograph you upload is processed by specialist third-party AI services to identify crop disease and insects and to answer your follow-up questions. Some of these providers operate servers outside India. We send only the photograph and the resulting diagnosis: never your name, phone number, email address, account details or location, and location metadata is removed from the image before it is sent.
  • Weather data provider — receives an approximate location to return a forecast. No identity details are sent.
  • Email delivery provider — delivers login codes and notifications to your email address. We do not send login codes by SMS.
  • AWS EC2 (Mumbai, India) — stores the database and uploaded files.

4. How long we keep it

  • Account details — while your account is open, then deleted within [30] days of closure.
  • Diagnosis photographs — [12] months, so you can review your crop history.
  • Identity documents — [24] months after verification, then deleted.
  • Sensor readings — [24] months, for season-on-season comparison.
  • Lease agreements — as long as the law requires us to keep contract records.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the data we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your account and personal data;
  • stop using your data for a particular purpose;
  • send your data to you in a portable form.

Email harekrishnahareramramram108@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. How we protect your data

  • All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • Login uses one-time codes, so there is no password for us to lose.
  • Each sensor device has its own key, so one compromised device cannot affect another farmer's field.
  • Identity documents are not reachable by search engines.
  • Access to verification documents is limited to staff who review them.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site. Anything optional, such as analytics, is only set after you agree to it in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.

8. Children

This service is for adults carrying out agricultural work. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Automated decisions, and their limits

Disease diagnosis is produced by a machine-learning model. It is advisory and can be wrong. Its accuracy has not been independently measured. Always confirm with a qualified agronomist or your local agricultural extension officer before spending money on treatment or destroying a crop. No automated decision here legally binds you.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
